Albany- It seems Christmas comes earlier each and every year.  Don't check your calendar, it's still October and Halloween hasn't come and gone, but Christmas decorations are popping up in local stores, including Hobby Lobby.

The store put out its Christmas merchandise in July. Customers, like Jessica Kirkland who is trying to decorate her first apartment this Christmas, are already shopping.

"I just noticed that everybody's starting to put their Christmas decorations out so I figured I'd go ahead and get it out of the way. I don't want to have to spend all my money on Christmas decorations at Christmas," Jessica Kirkland, Christmas Shopper.

Starting Thursday, there are just 66 shopping days until Christmas.
