Juvenile burglary suspect arrested

October 13, 2005

Albany -- A 16-year-old, described by police as one of the ringleaders of a gang of burglary suspects, is arrested.

The 16-year-old boy is charged with five burglaries, breaking into homes on Florence Drive, Ardmore Lane, and Fourth Avenue.

Investigators say they believe the teenager is a member of the C.M.E. Rattlers, and that he and several other teens have been breaking into homes in Northwest Albany.

Investigators say the 16 year old had a cell phone stolen in one of the burglaries with him when he was arrested.
