Valdosta - The Valdosta State football team celebrated homecoming with a win, beating Henderson State 51-12.
Barrett Wilkes completed 24 of 30 passes for 202 yards and three touchdowns.
Freshman Sherard Reynolds caught five passes for 112 yards and two scores in the win.
V-S-U linebacker Maurice Leggett scored twice, on a 20-yard blocked punt in the second quarter and a 60-yard interception return in the fourth.
The Blazers are now 6-1 overall, 4-1 in conference.
Valdosta State plays at West Alabama next week.
