South Central Drug Task Force News Release

Irwin County -- Friday, the South Central Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at 1006 N. Maple Street in Ocilla. During the search, Investigators recovered a quantity of suspected cocaine and marijuana.

As a result of this operation, Bruce Wendall McCoy, 31, was arrested and charged with Possession of Cocaine and Possession of Marijuana. At the time of his arrest, McCoy was on active parole for a previous drug related conviction.

McCoy was taken to the Irwin County Detention Center. Assisting the SCDTF with the execution of this search warrant was the Ocilla Police Department and the Irwin County Sheriff's Office.
