Bainbridge, Georgia-- Five people face federal charges in connection with a major drug ring.

Decatur County sheriff's investigators say undercover agents bought thousands of dollars worth of meth from the group over several months. It is suspected of having direct ties to Mexico.

Sergio Rios, James Argo, Ray Parker, Lee Strickland, and John Slay have been charged with conspiracy to distribute meth.

The DEA, US Customs agents, and several local and state agencies were involved in the investigation. Authorities say its ongoing, and they expect more indictments soon.
