Face your fears at Wild Adventures

October 7, 2005

Valdosta - Are you ready to face your deepest fears? A South Georgia amusement park is daring you to!

"Phobia" is the newest Halloween entertainment event at Wild Adventures. Guests are invited to brave their darkest fears through haunted houses, terrifying train rides, and fearsome forests.

If that sounds too scary, there's also several musicals, puppet shows, and even a "Halloween on Ice" program.

"We've got the Bugsville Boo Review which is a special show for the younger children, and as you get older the scares get a little more intense," said Sara Sumner. "The adults will be pretty surprised at what they find in some of these houses."

A frightening guest will stop by the park Saturday to help kick off the event. Robert England, better known as Freddy Krueger, will sign autographs from 4:00 until 7:00.

"Phobia" runs through October 31st.
