The South Central Drug Task Force is committed to working with local law enforcement and school officials to make our schools a safe and drug free environment. The SCDTF routinely performs random drug searches at the schools located in Irwin, Ben Hill and Wilcox Counties.

The SCDTF would like to recognize the Georgia Department of Corrections K-9 Teams for their dedication in providing assistance to area law enforcement. These officers and their K-9's have spent countless hours in our community assisting law enforcement during searches for drugs, fugitives and missing people.

Many times these incidents occur during very late hours and adverse weather conditions, but these officers arrive and are ready to get the job done. Their presence has certainly made a significant impact on the war against drugs and crime.
