Thomasville, Georgia-- A candidate for Thomasville's city council isn't allowed to run after all.

City Election Superintendent, Kathleen Vinson, disqualified Jeremiah Horne Thursday night. Horne registered to vote in Thomasville on September 15th, the day before qualifying for city elections ended. Prior to this year, Horne's address was listed in Pelham. Georgia requires a candidate for office live where he is running for at least a year.

The residency of council candidate, Tyrone Tyrell, is also being investigated. A hearing for him is scheduled Monday.
