Albany -- Hundreds of people flocked to the front yard of a South Albany home this afternoon where three big stars in rap music were shooting a music video. "Field Mob," a duo of Albany natives, brought Ludacris back to their home to make their video.

Field Mob and Ludacris' next big hit record will be "Georgia," the Ray Charles classic, updated for today. "It's good to see my hometown come support me." said Smoke, whose real name is Darion Crawford.

Shawn Johnson and Darion Crawford, a couple of Albany natives who graduated from Westover High School, now better known as 'Shawn J' and 'Smoke,' huge rap stars "Field Mob."

But they still remember these streets where they grew up. The video is being shot in Shawn J's grandmother's front yard. "Come back and do it the right way. Share it with the people that helped mold you to be the dude you is today. You feel me. You fig-a-deal me," Shawn J said.

Field Mob wanted their home town in this video, and hundreds of people from the neighborhood will be. Smoke said, "I love everybody out here, and that's why I want to get them in the video."

"Field Mob" is now recording with Ludacris' record label, Disturbing the Peace.

"This is the first day of the shoot. We brought MTV down here with us. Like I said, we just trying to blow up Albany Georgia, because we know how great of a city it is," Ludacris said.

"Georgia" by Ludacris and Field Mob will be released in December. It will be a tribute to these rap stars home state, and Ray Charles, another Albany native, really made in Georgia.

"I felt like it was a good reason to do Georgia in Albany, Georgia," Smoke said.

Field Mob and Ludacris will continue shooting the video tomorrow in Atlanta where they will be joined by Jamie Foxx, the actor who played Ray Charles in the movie "Ray."
