Albany- Beginning October 7th the Special Olympics Georgia will kickoff this week-ends Fall games at the Albany Civic Center with their opening cermony. Kristin Caso, special events coordinator says,"Their will be games, a parade of athletes, lighting of the torch and alot of fun and excitement for all who attend.

  It is a great way to show these athletes you care and for alot of them that don't have families, you can be their family by showing up and showing support." All of the events are free and everyone is welcome to attend the games. The games are October 7-9 th. For a complete listing of events you can go to their website at www.albany.ga.us.
