Tifton -- A shooting just after midnight leaves one man dead and police looking for the killer. The victim's name is Bobby Lee Scott of Tifton. He worked at E. H. Santos nightclub.
Few details are available, but we do know that the man was shot in the head.
EMTs tried to resuscitate him inside the nightclub, but he died later at Tift Regional Medical Center.
The case is still under investigation. Investigators say there was a man who was drunk, and tried to enter the club, and was told that he could not come in. He became irate and shot Scott.
Authorities say this case is in no way related to the home invasions last week in South Georgia.
