Thomasville, Georgia-- Questions are being raised about the residency of a Thomasville City Council candidate.

A hearing has been scheduled to determine whether Tyrone Terrell meets the residency requirement. He says he is a registered voter in DeKalb County, but has been living in Thomasville for the last five years.

Georgia law requires a candidate for office must have lived where he is running for at least a year. A hearing has to be held if the residency isn't clear. Terrell's will be next Monday at 11:00 a.m. in the city administration building.
