Job Corps helps hurricane victims move on

Albany - Hurricane evacuees can find job opportunities and training at Job Corps centers across the country, including here in Albany. Job Corps is opening 4,000 spots nationally for young adults, between 16 and 24 year old, impacted by Hurricane Katrina.

Turner Job Corps has about 100 spots available. Job Corps offers more than 100 career training programs from construction to hospitality, plus housing and medical care. Students can also get their high school diploma and GED.
