Tift County- Nineteen year old Demetrius Burgess is charged with burglary. Authorities say he stole 42 rifles, handguns, and shotguns from Godwin's Hardware Store in Ashburn back in November 2003.

Authorities turned the case over to Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms agents who took out a warrant for him in May.

Thanks to a tip, Burgess was captured in Tift County early Thursday morning. He is being held in the Dougherty County jail. None of the guns have been recovered.

Burgess was also arrested in connection with a brawl at an Ashburn nightclub last year.
