Americus - Georgia Southwestern State University should find out in just over a month whether they will be invited to join the Peach Belt Conference.
A delegation that included presidents from five member schools in the conference were in Americus Thursday for another round of meetings and tour of the athletic facilities at Georgia Southwestern.
The delegation said Georgia Southwestern should hear by November 1st whether the conference presidents will invite them to join theior conference.
The Peach Belt added North Georiga last summer and need one more school to replace Kennesaw State and North Florida who are moving to division one.
