Tifton- Tift County quarterback Scott Shuman is this week's Orthopaedic Associates player of the week.
The senior completed 9-14 passes for 175 yards and two touchdows in last week's win over Worth County County.
For the season, the transfer from Valdosta High has throw five touchdows in his first five games all of which were Blue Devil wins.
Shuman says Tift County's offensive line were the real mvp's last week against the Rams.
Scott Shuman said "It is an honor but most the credit goes to the o-line because last week that was probably their best game. They blocked for me. Without them, you cannot run or pass effectively."
Tift County is off this week as they open region play next Friday at Valdosta.
