Albany- Gas prices started climbing again Thursday and they may not stop for a while. Prices in Albany jumped more than 16 cents Thursday in Albany. That sent many drivers on a bargain hunt.

While many other stations charged $2.72 a gallon, the Express Lane at the corner of Gillionville and Lockett Station sold regular unleaded for $2.55.

"Just listening to the news Thursday morning, I decided to go ahead and fill up before they got really high," said Charlette Reddix of Albany.

According to AAA, the average price for a gallon of gas in Georgia is $2.60.
