School auction helps hurricane victims

Albany - Some high school students are auctioning themselves off, in a way, to help the Katrina Relief Effort. There were a lot of screaming students at Deerfield Windsor School in Albany Thursday, as student bid to have lunch with their favorite senior athletes.

The Senior Auction is held each year and this year, the students choose to give the money they raise to the Red Cross. Some seniors and their lunches went for more than $300.

A local business owner offered to match the students donation, so students hope to give the Red Cross well over $2,000.
