Albany - The Georgia Special Olympics Fall Games get underway in Albany in a little more than two weeks. 

Hundreds of athletes from around the state will compete in softball, bocce, golfing cycling, track and field and other sports.

More than 1,200 athletes, coaches, and their families are expected to packed Albany hotels for the event.

There will be a wine tasting fundraiser at The Rocket restaurant October 3rd.

Tickets are $35.

The Special Olympics are October 7th - 9th.
