Albany - On Tuesday, the city of Albany opened a One-stop-shop to assist Katrina victims. It's located across from the American Red Cross in the Albany Housing Authority Building.

Inside, officials from the Red Cross, Department of Labor, Health Department and housing services are available to help evacuees.

Daniel Churchman, Disaster Services Director, says, "Basically, the idea is to get as many resources as possible together in one place for them. Finding all these organizations might take an awful lot of time and trouble."

The one-stop-shop is open from 9AM to 4PM Monday through Friday. Evacuees can also go directly to the American Red Cross for assistance.

So far, more than $180,000 has been donated to the Albany chapter of the Red Cross for Katrina relief.
