Albany- Just in time for Fall, the Albany Symphony is offering the community a chance to enjoy world renowned artists while sitting back relaxing and listening to some of the classics.
Claire Fox Hillard, the Music Director will lead the symphony into a new era of music and crowd enjoyment. Each season features a different artist. Some greats include Timothy Fain who will play Vivaldi and other artists playing classics like Beethoven and Stravinsky.
"There is something for everyone, and it's not just for certain people, you can come as you are," says President Diance Cunningham.
Meanwhile, you can go downtown for the 14th annual Peppermint Pops which will take place December 6th at 7 PM.
Other Downtown venues include: Jazz on the River, May 19th and the big July 4th celebration. For more information contact the Albany Symphony at 229-430-6799 or visit their website at www.albanysymphony.org .
