Katrina hits local company

Thomasville, Georgia-- A national company based in Thomasville will have to make a lot of repairs because of Hurricane Katrina.

Flowers Foods' bakery in New Orleans has been forced to shut down because of severe damage. Flowers has temporarily re-opened a closed bakery in Houston to take over production from the New Orleans plant. Its bakeries in Baton Rouge and Lafayette, Louisiana weren't damaged.

Flowers operates 34 bakeries across the country.
