Thomasville, Georgia-- A driver is facing charges for running into a state trooper in Thomasville.
30 year old trooper first class Dunn was headed North on Highway 35 when he was broad sided by an SUV on Tuesday. "A Chevrolet Tahoe was exiting out of Wendy's and didn't see the patrol car because of other traffic. It was congested during lunchtime," says Sergeant First Class, Kim Pittman.
The trooper suffered a bruise on his head and a minor cut on his elbow. He's expected to be back at work Wednesday. The driver of the Tahoe was ticketed for failure to yield.
