September 13, 2005

Albany- The Miller Brewing Company has just completed a 13,000-bottle water relief project to help victims of the hurricane disaster. The water is being hauled by the Georgia Forestry Commission from Albany to Macon.

It will be loaded onto a C-130 cargo plane of the Georgia Air National Guard, which will take it to Meridian, Mississippi for distribution to other locations around the Gulf Coast where fresh drinking water is needed.

The latest shipment brings the number of water bottle produced by the Albany Miller plant to over 400,000.
