Thomasville Police are looking for two men who attempted to rob a store, scaring customers and clerks.
Thomasville, Georgia-- The next phase of Thomasville's Cherokee Lake Renovation Project is almost ready to begin.
Cleanup at the lake is just about complete. Now, city officials are reviewing plans for new sidewalks, walking trails, and bike paths. Next month, "Hands on Thomas County" is hoping to have about 100 volunteers help work on dozens of projects. Among them is weatherproofing a gazebo and installing thousands of dollars in playground equipment.
The entire renovation is expected to take about three years.
