Albany -- Albany Police are asking your help in solving a murder. 66 year old Jimmy Medders was shot in the chest in his home on East Roosevelt Avenue May Third. He was known as "Pops."

A co-worker found his body. Now Investigators are asking your help.

They need any information about who killed Medders, and why. Albany Police Detective Jason Armstrong said "At this time we don't know what the motive is. The house where he was found at was reputed to have sold liquor without a business license. But we can not connect that to the murder."

If you have any information about the murder of Jimmy Medders, call the Albany Police.
