Albany- So how much fun is it for kids to learn dancing and how to work with others?  One dance studio in Albany shows us what it takes to make it happen.  At Studio 101 owner and instructor Patricia Curry says, " I love both dancing and kids so it's a perfect mix when the kids come in and we start learning new dance moves I enjoy them both."

Curry has been dancing since she was five years old and wanted to find new ways to bring the art of dance to students in this area.

At her school she teaches Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Lyrical and even Hip Hop. "The Hip Hop classes are new and alot of kids and adults want to learn," says Curry.  Dances, both she and the kids say are alot of fun but take alot of energy and work.

Right now after seeing an interest from kids who couldn't afford her class, she started letting them take the class anyway to help get them off the street and boost their self-esteem.  She uses sponsors to help cover their cost or pays for them herself. But to the kids, it's all about the music and moves. You can sign up for classes or find more information about Studio 101 by calling Patricia Curry at 229-434-7444.
