    An Albany man arrived home to find his pool completely destroyed. He's not sure what happened, but the wall caved in and the concrete cracked. He says he's had the siding redone several times.More >>

Tifton-- People if Tifton and Tift County are marking the 100th birthday of their county.

Carved from parts of Irwin, Berrien, and Worth Counties in 1905, Tift County is 269 square miles in size.

It is also one of South Georgia's most progressive counties, with an Interstate highway, a state college, numerous agricultural research facilities, and tremendous industry.

The Georgia Agrirama is joining several schools churches, and civic organizations today, with booths, crafts, products, and demonstrations, including many historic photos.

The centennial celebration will go on for to months, and will also involve local sports at the first Tift County football game.
