Mobile home fire scares neighbors

August 16, 2005

Albany -- Investigators say a fire that destroyed an East Albany mobile home Tuesday morning was intentionally set. All that's left of the mobile home is ashes. About 2:15 AM firefighters were called to 1709 East Broad Avenue.

Neighbors say the mobile home had been vacant for about a month. Next door neighbor Tremaine Monson said the intense flames made his family flee their home. Monson said " Yes, Sir. See how it's burnt on the side. I was worried. I had to get my Mom out of the house, for her safety."

Fire Investigators are trying to find out who broke into the vacant home,  and set it on fire.
