Albany-- It was a "Grand Night for Singing" Friday night in Albany.
Theatre Albany kicked off its 73rd season with a performance of music by Rodgers and Hammerstein including songs from "The King and I", "Oklahoma!"and "Carousel." For many ticketholders, Theatre Albany performances are a tradition that spans decades.
"My husband and his family came when he was a little boy and then he and I have been coming thirty, maybe forty years. It's been a long time," says ticketholder Fonda Marbury.
The show runs until August 27th with special matinees on the 14th and 21st.
