Albany- Skyrocketing gas prices could force you to pay more for everything from groceries to a night out for dinner.

Trucks deliver most of the goods we use. The price of diesel fuel is increasing quickly and many trucking companies pass those costs along to their customers. That causes costs to go up for everyone from beverage distributors to restaurant owners and they often pass those increases on to you.

"I have already seen in terms of what's coming to me has gone up and I recently had to change the menu prices to reflect that and stay competitive," said Tim Underwood, The Rocket's Owner & Chef.

Underwood says, other restaurants have made similar increases. He says his priciest items are milk, other dairy products, and meat.
