Albany - The fall games are October 7th through 9th, and with less than two months to go, volunteers are desperately needed. At least 1000 volunteers are required, but right now only 100 have signed up.
Financial donations are also needed, since the athletes participating in the games stay in Albany free of charge. The goal is $50,000 for each year the games will be here. So far, only $20,000 has been raised.
Kristin Caso says, "You're going to get a thousand times more out of it than you put into it, that seeing these athletes on the podium and so proud of thier achievements is really such a great accomplishment that it makes it worth it."
