Dougherty County- A Dougherty County Road shut down nearly a month ago by flooding is open again.

Gaissert Road, off Fleming Road in east Dougherty County was closed July 10th. Heavy rains from Hurricane Dennis washed away part of the road.

Intense heat slowed repair work by maintenance employees, but the road is now fully repaired. It reopened Tuesday.
