Arlington- It was a wet, soggy day for grape stomping, wine connoisseurs braved the showers for the second annual Summer Wine Festival.

Despite the rain, hundreds made their way to the Still Pond Vineyard and Winery Grape Stomp Festival. While the kids were stomping, there was wine tasting for the adults. While the rain is good for the crops, it put a slight damper on the festival.

"We've had a lot of good rains and we haven't had any hurricanes, thank goodness, so today we could have held off for the rain, but it's okay," said Charlie Cowart, Wine maker.

Still Pond Vineyard and Winery is located between Leary and Arlington and recently won several awards at the International Eastern Wine Competition, in New York.
