Man arrested in Moultrie abduction

Moultrie- A Moultrie family abducted at gunpoint is found safe in South Carolina. Just after 2:00 p.m. Saturday, Rock Hill Police and the FBI arrested German Rodas at his Rock Hill, South Carolina home.

With him were, Emily Rodas and the couple's two children, two year old Mary Elena and eight month old Christian Rodas unharmed. Rodas will be brought back to Colquitt County to face charges for the abduction.

An Amber Alert was issued Friday night for Emily and the children after family members witnessed German taking Emily and the kids at gunpoint. Police followed Rodas along Interstate 85 into South Carolina where he was arrested in the driveway of his home without incident.

    County leaders Early County are keeping an eye on the flood watch...preparing for the worst.  The county's EMA Director has been watching the weather closely since Thursday in preparation for the storm.

    Steady rain has been falling in Decatur County, as well as the rest of Georgia, that could lead to potential flooding.  But some residents aren't worried about Alberto.  Joe Livingston of Bainbridge was seen walking his dog, Peaches, in shorts.
