Thomasville Police are looking for two men who attempted to rob a store, scaring customers and clerks.
Albany - An elderly woman was found dead in an Albany motel room on Wednesday. The 86 year old woman was in room 124 of the Regency Inn on East Oglethorpe Boulevard.
Investigators say she had been living there with her son for three months. The motel manager told police that the son called him this morning and asked him to check on his mother because she wasn't feeling well when he left at 2 AM. The manager found her unresponsive.
Albany Police Lt. Tracey Barnes says, "Right now, until we can determine that, we are going to treat it as homicide, per our procedures and then determine from there." An autopsy will be performed Thursday at the GBI crime lab in Moultrie.
