Albany - Monroe sprinter Tierra Watts is out of the blocks and on her way to Georgia Southern.
Watts, who graduated back in May, won the state 100 meters as a sophomore and finished second behind Westover's Lakecia Ealey as junior.
She also was a member of the Lady Tornadoes 4x100 meter relay team that won four consecutive state titles and holds the state record in two classifications.
Tierra Watts is the seventh Lady Tornado track star to sign a college scholarship in the last five years.
