Police are looking for a man who robbed a store and kidnapped the clerk.

Around 9:30 Monday night, Echols County investigators say 30-year-old Kevin Lavon Joyce robbed the Expressit Store in Statenville. He forced the clerk into her car at gunpoint and made her drive him to Valdosta to buy drugs.

At one point, they stopped to change drivers and the woman sped off. She was not hurt.

A few hours later, investigators say Joyce tried to rob the McDonald's on South Patterson Street but didn't show a gun. The employees ran out and called 911.

If you have any information on Joyce's whereabouts, call the Echols County Sheriff's Office or the Valdosta Police Department.
