Leesburg-- The GBI has been called in to investigate what may be a double-murder in Lee County. The bodies of a man and his wife were discovered this morning in the Old Stage Road home about 10:30 this morning.
The man owns an Albany pawn shop, and when he did not arrive at the store this morning, employees called Lee County Sheriff's Office to request that they check on him. When deputies arrived at the home, they saw the two bodies through a window of the home.
The wife's body was seen in a chair i the bedroom, and her husband body was seen on the floor nearby.
