Fitzgerald- Fitzgerald Police have one man in custody and are looking for others in a double shooting that killed one man. The shooting happened just after one a.m. Saturday in the 400 block of East Pine. A crowd had gathered on the street when the shots rang out.

"I didn't hear any argument, I just heard gunshots, pow, pow, pow," said Malcolm White, a Witness.

"There was a lot of people about and this is what were in the process of doing now, interviewing some of these people that were there at the time the incident occurred," said Captain Tommy Clark, Fitzgerald Police Dept.

Both men were taken to a local hospital where police were able to question the surviving victim. With the cooperation of the Ben Hill Sheriff's department, a short time later, police arrested a suspect believed to have been involved in the incident. He was arrested on a warrant for an unrelated crime and is still being questioned. Police say they will continue to question witnesses and the case remains under investigation.
