Cairo-- A woman accused of a string of thefts in Grady County is out of jail on bond.
|Investigators say Felicha Rixie is responsible for at least eight burglaries and thefts around Cairo since March. Most of the items were taken from homes, including those belonging to Rixie's family.
Investigator Steve Clark says Rixie admitted she committed the crimes for drug money. "They had a grip on her. And when a person gets to that point, they will do just about anything to family, friends, people they don't even know, to try to get the money," he says.
Rixie is charged with two counts of felony burglary, and two counts of theft by taking. She's also charged with two counts of theft by deception.
