Cairo-- A Grady County man is facing federal charges in connection with an arson.

Authorities say Martin Harrell burned down the Ramada Inn in Donalsonville three years ago. He's facing federal charges because the fire affected interstate commerce.

Harrell is also facing two counts of witness tampering. Authorities say he threatened to physically harm a lawyer if he did not withdraw a subpoena in the case.

Harrell is being held in the Doroughty County Jail without bond.
