Albany- Celeste's Salon is holding it's 5th annual Hair and Fashion Extravaganza this weekend.

The salon is teaming up with other local merchants and barbers to give South Georgians a look at the latest hairstyles and fashions of 2005. All of the proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society.

Organizer and salon owner Celeste Griffin says she started the shows after her sister was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2000.

"So, I decided that we would start trying to give shows to raise money to help out, but I lost her last year. So, she just inspired me to just keep on going and try to figure out a way how to get rid of this terrible disease," says Griffin.

The hair and fashion show will be held this Sunday at the Ritz Cultural Center in Albany. The event starts at 6 PM. For more information about the show and where to get tickets call Celeste Griffin at 229-883-5038.
