Albany - Faculty and Staff at Albany State University watched the countdown from the new NASA Aerospace laboratory. The lab is to encourage kids in grades K through 12 to take an interest in Science, Math and engineering.

"The program that is designed around this, it's a good opportunity for the University and the region to work with NASA," says Lab coordinator Wilton Dyer. He says, because the launch date was moved back, students weren't able to attend, but he hopes they will be able to enjoy the experience next time.
