Wildcats look to start new in 2006

July 25, 2005

Albany-- With one game left in the season, Wilcat players and coaches are gearing up for their final test. But before the big game we snuck on the field and got a personal interview with coach Donnie Davis.

This team isn't going to let a few losses shut them down. Instead, they have decided to prepare for their final game this friday under the now not so new Coach Donnie Davis.

Davis is no stranger to football, as a former quarterback for Georgia Tech and offensive coordinator for the Georgia Force Arena Football team, he's prepared. Now as head coach of an allready losing team, he plans to use his broad knowledge of the sport to overcome any obstacles or pressure.

"It's tough it's really tough," said Davis. "But I learned from my dad a long time ago the only pressure a person can have is self imposed pressure I dont worry too much what other people think or expect of me bc life is going to go on."

Davis despite prior losses is optimistic that next year will be a better year. Right now he is evaluating players and plans to bring only the best back, you will also see some new faces as he plans to also add some new names to next year's roster.
