Albany-- A popular place that offers relief from the high temperatures is the Albany Mall.

Many people who normally exercise outside, just can't do that on these hot summer days. Some of them turn the air conditioned mall into their workout place. Some make it a weekly or daily event. Beverly Arnold is thankful for a place to have cool temperatures and get some exercise.

"We visit areas where there are no malls and sometimes we don't get to walk and I am a walker for my health," says Arnold.

"It's nice and cool and gives us something to do besides being at home," says Lisa Lanier.

They're not great for exercise but movie theaters and supermarkets are good public places if you need a cool place to go in the heat of the day.
