Thomasville-- Health officials are concerned more people may have been exposed to a case of tuberculosis in Thomasville.

They've already warned students and staff at Thomasville High School that a classmate has the respiratory disease. Now, health officials say employees and patients at Archbold Hospital may have been exposed to the boy. They've launched a widespread effort to identify and contact anyone who runs a risk.

Officials say it's very unlikely the majority of people would develop TB. The airborne illness is treatable. If you have any questions, you can reach the Thomas County Health Department at 226-4241.
