Albany-- A sales campaign for magnets has prompted the Chamber of Commerce to issue a statement saying that the Chamber is not involved in the enterprise.
Here is the Chamber's statement received by WALB Wednesday morning:
It has come to the Albany Area Chamber of Commerce’ s attention a company, UCA Marketing, is calling our Chamber Members soliciting sponsorships for a magnet that is being produced on behalf the Chamber. This is NOT the case. The Albany Area Chamber of Commerce is not endorsing this venture. Should your company decide to participate in this project, please note that the Chamber is not working with them on this project.
