Valdosta - One South Georgia county made it through Hurricane Dennis with very little storm damage.
Lowndes County got about five inches of rain over the weekend, and only saw wind gusts of about 30 miles per hour. A few small trees were snapped and there were some brief power outages, but no road closures or flooding.
The Withlacoochee River is expected to crest at 14.4 feet on Thursday, but emergency management officials don't expect any flooding in developed areas.
