Hurricane Dennis approaches

July 10, 2005

As Hurricane Dennis approaches, South Georgia is being pounded by wind and rain.

There are already reports of downed trees and power lines in Grady, Decatur and Seminole Counties.

Part of the roof was ripped off Mitchell County Middle School in Camilla this morning.

Several counties are under tornado watches.

Dennis, a powerful category four hurricane, is packing winds of 135 miles per hour and will deal a devastating blow to the western Florida panhandle and eastern Alabama shore when it makes landfall.
